Arizona Offers a Hotline for Homeowners Facing Foreclosure

There was a new hot-line put up in Arizona for homeowners that are struggling to pay their mortgages and receive a modification on their loans. There more than 570 phone calls received since the hot-line opened as the counselors tried help homeowners determine if they qualify for a modification under the Obama Administration affordability and housing plan.

On azfamily.com there is a worksheet displayed for struggling homeowners to determine if they qualify for a modification before talking to their lender or anyone else. No homeowner should have to pay for help and can receive plenty of available free help to determine what they qualify for and how they can go about it. Figuring out how much a homeowner can pay is where to start when negotiating with your lender. This will depend on a lot on the income where many homeowners will not have very much to be able to put out.

For a modification under the affordability and housing plan no homeowner will pay more than 31 percent of their income. Chances are they will exactly that and no less especially if the loan is for a large amount. In order to receive more answers one can call 877-448-1211 to see what a counselor on the hot-line can do for you today.
