Idaho Foreclosures
Foreclosures across the United States have reached more than 500,000 so far this year. There have more than 200,000 homeowners that filed for bankruptcy and there are more than 350,000 homeowners in the process of foreclosing. Idaho has increased in foreclosure activity, but the state still remains to have one of the lower amounts of foreclosures.
In the central region of Idaho in Blaine County there are almost 40 homeowners in the pre-foreclosure status and less than 30 that have gone through foreclosure this year. In the southwest region of the state in Ada County there have been more than 1,100 homeowners that lost their homes to foreclosure. There are almost another 1,000 homeowners in pre-foreclosure and almost 200 homeowners filing bankruptcy. Boise City has the highest number of foreclosures in the state.
Gem County has very few foreclosures and has seen less than 25 foreclosures so far this year. There are almost 30 homeowners in pre-foreclosure and very few in bankruptcy. In the northern region of Idaho, in Bonner County there are very little foreclosures as well. There are almost 25 foreclosures and less than 50 homeowners in foreclosure. Bonneville County has a bit more with almost 130 in pre-foreclosure and less than 50 that have already gone through foreclosure. Almost 50 have filed bankruptcy. Bannock County follows Bonneville with almost 110 homeowners in pre-foreclosure and less than 40 homeowners that have gone through foreclosure. Fewer than 25 homeowners filed for bankruptcy.
